A New Year

Ladies and Gents,

For some of my mates down there you are waking up wondering why you had just one more for the road. Some are looking around the room wondering "where am I" and what did I tell her/him?

For me another few hours before we move into yet another year, each seeming to go by faster and faster. This year I promise to only drink half as much which should equate to only half as long to get over it. Somehow I find that difficult to believe right now however in true helicopter pilot fashion I will give it the old collledge try.

To our friends and peers who we have lost this year and in years gone by, fairwell and godspeed you are not forgotten. To their loved ones we still give you a moment in our own way, you too are not forgotten.

To my mates who are still burning and turning I wish you and your families all the very best for a very prosperous new year, Alan D, John A, Tailboom Tony (I like that nick name) sorry guys been lazy and will catch up on the news in the coming days. (Poor excuse I know)

To all posters here whether just starting out or coming close to the final approach I wish you a safe upcoming year.

Little nippy at work today -44c, so glad I'm off.
