Bendix/King Refurbishment

Hi all

In this time of pockets becoming less deep I wonder if anybody has come across an outfit in the UK who can refurbish the facia's of old Bendix/King kit to make them nice and new looking rather than going out and splurging $$$$$$$$$$$'s on new kit?

Any help much appreciated!

Hi AOC13,

If you are talking about KY196 COM era units the front facia's are easily removed once the unit is out of the rack, only 4 little screws on the side and the facia lifts off.

They are metal and you can paint the facia and I used to sand/rub back over the raised lettering only to remove the paint and this highlights it all nicely.

If this is what you were asking about doing, sorry to Avionicare!
