New Ride near Blackpool?
A little birdie whispered in my ear this morning that a new little birdie may be coming to Wesham near Blackpool to join its bigger brother Huey 509.
Anyone know when this will happen?

The real treat will be next.....but this new ride on its way is going to be hoot for Phil and the boys to fly.....and a whole lot cheaper to operate.
I hope they have a strong right thumb?
Is this the creation of the Wesham Air Cav?
At least Neil will not have to carry along a sand bag for weight and balance problems anymore!

Sas,
the only thing I can think of needing a strong right thumb for, is starting one of my Chain Saws, gee I have never seen a heli that needs starting that way.

R-22's use a pull cord starter just like a chain saw don't they?
Some helicopters are flown by a thumb button.....and followed up by the stick.....this particular type works best with the frictions removed too as I proved on a company check ride one time.

So that leaves only the OH-58/Cobra/Chinook/CH53 (apologies if I got the designators wrong) to come. Oh and I forgot the Skycrane. That will be the whole trainset then.

That's just a picture of the first aid kit, isn't it?

Mustang,
As I said way early in the thread...."Strong right thumb required!" (....and remembering to remove the cyclic frictions).
Shoulders like Arnold Schwarzenegger too....if the trim runs away to the limit!
