Hurricane damage Gulf of Mexico

I have a client who would like to charter a light helicopter next week to assess damage offshore if the storm hits as expected. All the major operators will be tied up moving people offshore as fast as possible, so anyone know who could be available for ad-hoc charter in the region for 2-3 pax.

I'm sure the big three will have a spare 206L for a 'special', just give one of them a call. If not i do remember an outfit out of a base just west of Morgan City, slick blue tiger stripe eurocopters. The name escapes me for now but it will come to me. Patterson i think was the airfield...

Thanks for the reply

I called Air Logistics, who were very helpfull, but their advice was that the backlog will be such that there is unlikely to be any slack until next Fri/Sat at the earliest. I'm not even on the same continent so don't really know who are the independant operators in the area.

I'd give Panther a call, nice looking machines. They have a 407 and an L model, that I know of.
PANTHER HELICOPTERS, INC.
Talked to one of their pilots once, nice chap.
Good luck.

I work for Panther Helicopters. We have a 407, 206L3,206L4 and a 206B3.
We are quite busy with our commitments to our customers, but we might be able to fit you in.
