Old Bell import rules...

Hi all!

I'm currently trying to sell a Bell 206BII JR with full IFR suite including King Autopilot with yaw stabilizer and all. It's a 1975 model which, according to the information that I have, puts restrictions on which countries it can be imported to (a 25-year rule or something). Can anyone shed some light on this? It's on Swedish register.

All the best,

Per

I would like that aircraft

You have PM.

I heard somewhere that Japan has a limit on aiframe age but have not heard that for other countries. It doesn´t make any sense anyway. On unpressurized aircarft the airframe age is largely irrelevant.

However if your Bell is an AgustaBell you can not import it to North America!
