I am based in Reykjavik and am flying mainly around that area.
So I guess you will be departing to Greenland from Ísafjörður ?

I would suggest you spend time over the fjords on the west coast of Norway

First time fail...

We tried and we failed


We got as far as half-way to Greenland, but with solid above, murky ahead and sea-fog building below (we were at 500') we decided to turn back.


Very frustrating, but the right decision. Next time (next year?) we'll give ourselves more time...
