Requirements for entry level helicopter pilot position in India

Wondering if anyone knows what kind of requirements are needed for a helicopter pilot starting out in the industry in India. For example, in the states its generally 1000 hours of flight time or PIC time needed. How does that compare to India?

Now I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way, and mods remove it if you feel it's not suitable, but joking only,
Given that most of the jobs I know in India are turbine jobs,
Don't you mean turban jobs?

Helimutt, the poor guy asked a sensible question and you just cumin here and start on the puns; sheesh!

To get turbine time could cost of kashmir, but if you can get the work, it's second to naan.

Cheers

...and I thought I was being bad???

But along the same theme I guess, has there ever been a sikh pilot and if so, how did his headset fit and was he allowed through security with his dagger? Just wondered.
