Belgian Army A109 down

The Belgian Army lost an Agusta 109BA on Friday.
"A medevac equipped Agusta A109BA Hirundu of the Wing Heli of the Air Component has crashed at 10h13 local time at Halleux, some 5 km West of La Roche-en-Ardennes. According to the first information the pilot and co-pilot are severely injured while the passengers (a doctor and his assistant) suffered light injuries. Both pilots where airlifted by a German Air Force SAR UH-1D to the CHU of Liège while the passengers were transported by road to a hospitals at Leuven and Marche-en-Famenne. The medevac helicopter was supporting the "Marche européenne du Souvenir et de l'Amitié ( MESA) - Europese Mars van de Herdenking en de Vriendschap (EMHV)" walk."
