What is the "best" IFR offshore flight log?
Fellow offshore aviators!
With the introduction of more modern offshore helicopters finally filtering down to some far flung places I would like to ask all those using them ( and the old bangers of course!) what their "ideal" paper flight log encompasses ( and just as importantly) not !!
Things to consider:
How easy is it to read ?( at night, old pilots, shaky machines)
What size clipboard needed?
PC generated or hand filled in?
Room for such things as clearances, rig weather, return loads,?
Adaptable for shuttle operations?
Logical? ( Believe me,some I've used are not!)
Consistent with the principle of reduced cockpit workload?
Don't repeat items and calculations that are in the tech/journey log.
Plus any other considerations!!
Examples most welcome to be posted!!

Don't forget the record of en-route performance calculations. Very necessary if you want to meet your internal audit criteria:
Are you landing above HOGE mass?
Are you departing above the Cat A mass?
These are just suggestions - you may already be using different (but hopefully 'appropriate') criteria.
