Fast online NOTAMS....no more
knew it was too good to be true...
any of the IT boffins out there know of any helicopter-friendly sites that can still get their details from national sources now that AIS has changed their promulgation method?

Strange what perception is because from my point of view the new site is much better. Especially as we can now get NOTAMs within a pre-determined radius of a nominated point.

EESDL,
Have you tried the new url?
http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php.html
The (horrible) functionality still seems to be the same for narrow route briefings. However, things seem to be a little bit more sensible because you can now get an 'area briefing', centred on a particular position.
Otherwise, I always found NotamPlot or NotamPro a much more user-friendly way of publishing NOTAMS.

You can also try:
http://fly.dsc.net/u/Home
click on dynamic map and go from there or click on plan
it's quite good when you're flying abroad, however read the disclaimer at the top of the page!!

tomo,
Version 2.1 of NotamPlot seems to run fine on my Vista (SP1).
For the install, are you using the larger file (with Java) or the smaller file (4.9mb)? If you've already got Java installed, you might get better results with just the smaller file.
