Perhaps the most important thing to bring along will be a lump of coal, as big a lump as can fit between your bum cheeks, you don't want to fly all that way and only squeeze out a small diamond...

I learned in flightschool that it's a good idea to stay in gliding distance to the shore without floats, i keep it with that!

It's tempting to hop over to Wales, but i'm such a sissy if it comes to swiming in cold water ;-)
