Transat 2008

The TRANSAT race starts at 1400 on Sunday 11 May in Plymouth. There is likely to be significant aerial activity in the area at that time. The programme so far is a display by the RN Blackcats Lynx helicopter team over the Hoe at 1245 and a Dash 8 flying around the Sound at 1330. Plymouth Military Radar will be open from 1000 until approx 1430 to provide FIS etc on 121.25 although priority will be given to Scheduled traffic in and out of Plymouth City Airport.

Please pass the word if you know anyone who intends to fly in the area on Sunday so we can keep the event safe.

Thanks.
