PPL(H) to CPL(H) hours question
All.
I am currently hour building towards my CPL.
Lasors states that minimum time is 155 hours.
This is reduced to 130 as I have (nearly) a PPL(A) just awaiting a skills test.
So, 25 hours saved.
However, to be issued with a CPL(H) I need to have a munimum of 185 hours (155 pre CPL + 30 for the CPL course).
What I will have is 130 + 30 = 160 hours, do I then have to fly the 25 hours to make my time to 185 hours ?
What is the point in discounting my entry hours for a PPL(A) if you still have to fly the hours before the CPL can be issued. Unless of course I am really struggling and need 55 hours for my CPL(H).
Very confused and probably wrong.
Any thoughts gents (and Ladies).

looks like you still need a total time of 185 hrs for licence issue but if you have 20 hrs fixed wing PIC time then you can use them and only have 165 hrs rotary time!!
Not very clear but i think thats how its works

You will also have to complete a night qualification for CPL(H) issue so that'll be at least 5 hours plus the required simulated instrument time.

On the same theme...
I obtained a PPL(A) back in 1987 and promptly let it lapse. I am also hour building towards my CPL(H). So does the PPL(A) count for nothing? [I've assumed hitherto that it does indeed count for nothing -- but it's worth checking, innit...]
