Helicopters in Northern Ireland Help
I am posting this here as well as on other forums.I am starting a project with the Cadets on helicopters in Northern Ireland and want to get as many photographs and as much information (non classified)and stories as possible. What I am looking for is anything relating to this ranging from the Navys Dragonflys at Eglinton and Wessex HAS.1s and 3s at Eglinton and Ballykelly ,the Sycamores deployed during the Border Campaign in the late 50s early 60s and AAC ,RAF and Navy in support of operation Banner.Anything is welcome.
Thanks

Try the Ulster Aviation Society:
Ulster Aviation Society
27 Woodview Crescent
Lisburn
Co. Antrim
Northern Ireland, BT28 1LF
In particular, see if they will put you in contact with Ken Boyd, who took a lot of Op Banner aviation photographs in the 90s.
