Not sure, but I have seen machines advertised on that fairly distinctive slabbed circle 'pad' before now in both AvBuyer and on eBay.... seem to recall one of them (a 44 if memory serves) had been rolled and then repaired.
Just what I remember - stand to be corrected.

YES YOU CAN DO 100MPH + UP THE MOTORWAY LEGAL.
you can do 100mph in an r22(unless it's changed snce I last flew one). Or didn't you know that?
I can't quite make out the Reg to look on G-INFO. Looks like G-JATS or something

I did a search on G-INFO and there is an R-22 with registration G-JATD; colour matches!!!
However, something's wrong - now standing at a bid of £13,100.
100mph is about 90kts; I thought an R-22 could do that? Schweizer'd be struggling mind!
Cheers

Course it's a scam. I reported it to eBay earlier this evening having done so about six weeks ago too. Last time they hijacked the account of someone who usually sold ornaments and nick-nacks, this time it's a computer printer cartridge company. Still trying to sell the same machine.
The first time I emailed asking where it was (Scotland, this time Southampton) and a list of technical questions all of which were absolute rubbish (I know nothing about rotary a/c). I got the usual fobbing off answers until eBay got their @rse in gear and pulled the ad.
I often spike these ads by putting in the maximum bid the system will accept. I've frequently bid £9,999,999:00 for a car worth £20,000. Really p1sses them off

when you bid large amounts what happens when you are wrong and its a genuine sale do you mess the sellers around too and promise to pay soon
do you get a kick out of it? why do you do it?

Ok, I've just spoken to the previous owner, who sold this R22 on ebay some 4 months ago, using this advert. It appears that his advert has been hijacked for the second time, long after the heli was sold to Italy.
He advertises genuine helis. The appearance of this advert on ebay has nothing to do with him. Someone is maliciously stealing his obsolete advert and using an ebay account to 'flog it off' cheap - more than once!

caveat emptor

Sorry, Why do you think this is scam. Check out the feedback score. Looks a professional seller liquidating an asset .
I should have read Wee Willies Post before posting my own.

YAYYYYYY!!!!! I bought a hecilopter for a gazillion squids Anyone want to teach me how to fly the bloody thing?
Well let me see. I've spiked about 50 of these scam auctions and so far none of them have backfired on me so it's not really an issue. You need to know what to look for. High value items at ridiculously low prices on accounts that bear no semblance to the item. Someone flogging 50 Beanie babies a week is highly unlikely to be selling a high end Mercedes worth £50,000 for £5,000 'Buy It Now' are they? You'll usually see them asking you not to contact them through their eBay account as they "...can't access the account from abroad..." or somesuch Instead they'll give a Hotmail or Yahoo! address.
Tell you what though. If you think I'm wrong I've this really nice Ferrari you can have for £5,000
I rest my case m'lud for it is heavy.

Well thank the lordy lords - JATD is finally grounded!
JATD originally had a black body when I was in the rickety old bird and had more of an IFR fit out so would question if this is her?
Seemed to remember it Auto'd better than it flew with power!
