Those logs must sure be worth a lot if it's economically viable to send a Chinook to get them 2 at a time!

They are. If you factor in the money saved from not having to build a road to get a truck close to the tree.

It's a really good form of logging. If you've ever seen clearcuts you know what I mean.

Out of interest: How much does it cost to run a Labrador (or Chook or Skycrane) per hour? How many trips can it make per hour? I'm just interested in the economics of this sort of heli usage...
