Mauritius

A quick question perhaps for our downunder chums.

Who is the licensing authority for Mauritius ie: CAA, FAA, CASA etc ?

Not me but a small round person I work with has put an application in - Perhaps in a few years time...

If it's the same company then I hear nothing but good things. Was going to be applying this March after speaking to them last year, but things have changed and would be unable to go now. Think of the tan though... and icey cold beers after a long day in the sun... sweet!

Its the Mauritius Civil Aviation Authority.
Neither under FAA or CASA regulations.
Infact JAR-standard is the most preferred,if not to say it is the one you need to work down here.
They maybe in the near future will change their regulations and adopt one parallel to the JAR's.
