HI I flew down to 24hrs in 2006 from South Wales with two friend in an R44 the trip was great the only problem was accomodation. fortunately we were guests of a car manufacturer so were able to get in and had really good seats. If you are going book accomodation well in advance.. Have a good trip

Once flew around the track at 50ft in a sporty helo. Unfortunately they weren't racing at the time. Airfield were very hospitable when we were weather'd in for a few days. JD

I have also flown round the track, but while they where racing. this was in 2005. the ride was only short but well worth the long lines of people waiting for a go.

Sounds like it could be fun. I am planning on going down and fortunately accomodation is not a problem as my friend is one of those wealthy farmers and has bought a place down there !!

Hi rotorvision98

We are staying 60 miles to the south and are hoping to fly in and out. Do they restrict landings on race or practice days do you know?
