Syy S92 Pan

A little bird told me one of Stornoway's shiny new S-92s returned to base on a PAN today... apparently had an engine fire warning go off.

Anyone know any more...?

Exclamation

It`s a reoccurring subject to the S-92`s. Has happened a couple dusin times on several machines in Norway the last 12 months. Adjustment of a clamp at the rear of the engine might help, but another cause is the moisture in the sensor which creates a current to the warnings. In other words, It`s an internal fault in the sensor. Manufacture is working on it. So far all warnings been false, but we all know the wolf story...
