Story of a determined young pilot
We have a lot of people lurking in Rotorheads as wannabe pilots, so when I saw this article I thought it would be encouraging to include it here. It's a tale of a determined chap who set his sights on being a helicopter pilot from the age of 8 who is now an instructor on Schweizers in Florida.
The only thing not covered (and often a key question) is how he funded it, but bearing in mind his parents were taking him on holiday to Hawaii at the age of 8, it seems like it was not an issue in this case...?

Interesting article I guess...
No stories of how he worked his arse off to pay his loans during the day and then went home and worked even harder for many hours every night to learn all the theory....If only money grew on trees (Or rich parents) eh
