Thumbs up

To Agaricus....Thank you for your translation. I wish all the crew a speedy recovery. I'm sure that the Italian Air Accident Investigation/Unit will do a very good analysis of this event. Fly Safe, Y'alll

1. sorry for my english;

2. the floats have not been infloated because they have no time to realize what was happening. Everything too fast.

3. the pilots evacuated the helicopter by the pilot side window that had been broken by the pilot's harm during the impact

4. the emergency exit lever did not work. Yesterday Agusta released a technical prescription asking to check structural interferences between the door and the heli structure. In other words the structure "covers" the hinges and the door trut is not able to exit.

I should have put 2+2 together yesterday, didn't realise the two were connected .

An emergency AD has been issued relating to the pilots and co-pilots doors.

A109s Tb

Yep we got the Mandatory Technical Bulletin for our ship this morning via AW USA. Our ship is no 44.
More interested in the double failure of the 207's, kind of hoping it will turn out to be fuel related and nothing more sinster. We have put just over 80 hours on our ship since new 2 months ago.
Would be interested in liasing with other A109S operators around the world in order to 'compare' notes and experiences.
