Advice on Applications

Hi There

I need some advice on when to send in applications and CV's to prespective employers. I am a low hours pilot with a CPL and have just completed my IR course. Unfortunatley due to the good old British weather and aircraft availabilty, my original test has been postponed and the next available test date is in mid December.

I am asking if it is worth contacting all prospective employers during these next few weeks preceding the test when I am not busy, or wait until I have passed and have the piece of paper in my licence from the CAA.

Does your IR training provider have any contacts with the 3 offshore companies? I imagine that any of the busy UK schools are on first name terms with the respective managers...

That would be my first port of call. Best of luck.
