MLS

Is there any civilian helicopter in Europe able to fly Microwave Landing System approach ?
Are there any MLS approaches around in Europe ?

IIRC The Ozzies first started testing MLS in the 70s and MLS was a great white hope in the 1980s. I think there was even talk of testing a system called MADGE that was used on naval vessels on an offshore installation.

Some countries in Europe (particularly those known for regular lowviz wx) embraced MLS a replacement to ILS. http://www.aviationtoday.com/av/issue/feature/807.html
I believe FAA suspended their MLS program in the mid 90s in favor of a GPS Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS).
