Standard of living in Norway is high. Pay is high, to cover cost of living. Can't think of any bad points except the language would be a pain to master.

And that they have just lost the Statoil contract to CHC HS, so I don't imagine there is too much recruiting going on!

Stable roster, good pay, great people, nice place to live if you like the cold, very expensive, high cost of living, oh, and from what I hear, they are looking for people.

I applied on there on line application on the 22nd December and on the 24th I got an e-mail saying they had recieved my application and processing it and would call me soon.
I presume this is the standard reply that everyone got.

Expect an e-mail. At present they are only looking at people with more than 1000hrs and IR(H), that would be the same as most N. Sea operators I think.

Just wondering how the Norsk interview compares to CHC? I assume they use the same psych tests but I believe the interviews are over three days!!?

Oh my god 3 days if I am called for I will never pass, and eventhough I have just under 9,000 hours mostly Twin with a UK IR for 10 years I would probably be considered or come out as mad.

Selection events were in Nov & Dec 2007, Feb & Mar 2008, I am not sure if there has or is anymore planned. In Dec 07' they were requiring 12-13 pilots, most positions have been filled I think. Am not aware if they require any more. Randi Bakke is your best point of contact.

Hi All, has anyone attended or is going to the selection process for Norsk?
I am going during May and would appreciate it if there is any information on selection, I am really dreading doing any of the speed tests if there are any, sim check ok I think.

Thanks
