New "Norsk" Screenings

Hi all out there...

Norsk was just doing new screenings a few days ago... does any one of you have informations about the contens of those sessions?

I just got the info that they took 3-4 days...! No idea if they changed to the Bristow screens now... or do they still continue the norwegian way? May you have also any information regrading new offshore jobs comming up with Norsk...

I guess till now they have "full house" again...

Thanks a lot out to all of you...

FWIW I worked for Norsk for 5 years on secondment from Bristow and I found them a great bunch of guys. Very professional. However that was in the days of Norsk still being majority owned by Norwegian and importing the experience from Bristow.

I can't say how the total "Bristowisation" has affected them but there are still guys in senior positions working for Norsk who I worked with and I can't rate them highly enough

Best wishes

This has to be one of the best places to work in the helicopter industry
Good working conditions, pay, thoroughly professional and brilliant people to work with but then I am biased as I work here
Hi John hope you are enjoying your retirement as the only 'Paddy' working here I had the pleasure of meeting you on your last stint here in Stavanger

Could anybody shed some light on what kind of candidate they're looking for in terms of experience/age/background? Also can anybody tell if ~6000 hrs of FW multicrew/airline experience in addition to helicopter ratings would be of any help, or otherwise?

Regards,

Stuck

ATR,

FO requirements are 1000hrs total time (500hrs helicopter if I remember correctly), JAR CPL(H) and JAR IR(H).

As for age, it's a mixed bunch with people joining from early 20's up to mid 40's. Previous experience ranges from instructing, ex-mil or off-shore. One or two have previous fixed-wing careers.
