Question POWERCOR Victoria

Just noticed the ad for helo pilot jobs for POWERCOR Children's Helicopter service. This has been running now for three weeks. Is it due to a lack of qualified people or no one wants to work for the organisation?

It is rumoured that there are limited flying hours with the position. Also I believe the whole air ambulance contract is up for renewal in the region, and the requirement is rumoured to require new machines, therefore the existing BK would not suffice. Possibly there is, therefore, the likelihood that employment in its current form would not be for the long term. This is a rumour network though......

The concept of helping out by flying sick kids around sounds very rewarding though.
