I need a copy of FCL2

Anybody got a link for downloading FCL2? I've found JAR Ops3 and the ANO, but can't find FCL2!

I'm about to do my TRE/IRE course and need some pre course reading.

All assistance gratefully received.

Try http://jaa.nl/publications/jars/607096.pdf, if not then the more indirect route http://jaa.nl/publications/section1.html then click on JAR FCL-2.

It's Amendment 6, which I'm unsure whether the CAA is using or not - I thought they're still on Amendment 5 but I'm sure I'll get shouted at if I'm wrong.

In an absolute sense, unc is right. You can always get section 1 of JAR documents on their website, but not the other sections. However, currently on the CAA website is the vast majority of JAR FCL 2, including the recent Amendment 3, which seems to be the one the CAA are using:

Enjoy!

NrF,

It is Amendment 6. (Amendment 5 was too full of spelling mistakes to use so they had to move straight to Amd 6!)

Here is the AIC which told us all when the CAA started using it (requires AIP free registration):

Helinut,

That section of the CAA website is out of date. The AIC above supercedes it.

HTH.

There's some TRE stuff there as well

Thanks fellas. You've saved me a lot of head scratching. Although I suspect I'll have a lot more over the next few months!

Help (Please): JAR-FCL2

Does anyone know where to find an up to date Section 2 of JAR-FCL 2? I can download Amendment 6 of Section 1, but can't find section 2 anywhere.
In particular, I am looking for AMC FCL 2.261 (d) - syllabus for MCC course(Helicopter). Have tried google, CAA, jaa.nl etc.

Just read the previous posts, thanks - guess I'm not the first to find the required information impossible to get!

When I trod this road a few motnhs ago, I found that Part 2 of JAA docs are not available from the JAA website, and you can only get Part 2 in hard copy from IHS, who supply hard copy JAA documents. Costs an arm and a leg. Makes the CAA look reasonable.

Also beware they will automtically assume you want updates and invoice you for the privilege for those too. I eventually paid up for the update I did not want just to keep the accounts department off my back. I suspect that sort of business practice is not even legal, but line of least resistance...........
