JAR ATPL(H)/IR conversion to Canadian ATPL(H)

Hello guys,

Has anybody converted JAR ATPL(H)/IR to Canadian ATPL(H) ?

Is it straightforward?? Would like to know your experiences.

Thanks

The exams are easier! No trick questions, unlike JAA. Can be done at any Transport Canada office any day of the week, results back in 5 mins. Exams mmust be done in Canada

If you have a current PPC they will accept that for the type rating (needs to be a multi-crew helicopter - 212/76 are acceptable, just, because they only require 2 crew in IFR).

There will be a check ride, naturally, and you should be able to combine that with an IR ride, since you are exempt any formal training for it if you have an ICAO IR.

PM me for details about study materials
