A109 Power Query
Chaps, this one is for all you A109 crews out there.
Has the A109 Power Elite got a longer cabin because of moving a bulkhead or is it a longer fuselage, if a longer fuselage, much much longer is it?
Answers on a postcards...
Thanks

Not even sure if the bulkhead is actually moved , the seatbacks are pushed back, into space that the aux tanks use on the original power, so the elite has less fuel, but the greater appearance of space.

Mr. Bovver is correct, the bulkhead is not moved, merely reprofiled (mainly at shoulder height). The Grand (and IIRC later E models) also feature the same redesigned bulkhead.

The bulkhead is actually moved and re-profiled. There's little enough difference at the bottom but there is something close to 4ins at shoulder height. You can see the rivet lines on the outside of the aircraft. Coupled with the more reclined position, there is the distinct impression of more room in the cabin. It's quite noticeable if you jump out of the Elite and into an earlier "standard" Power.
It is only a cosmetic exercise compared to the later Grand which has a definite plug in the hull to extend the overall length.
