Nvg Performance

PLEASE ,COULD ANY ONE ANSWER MY QUI-IAM CAPT JOURNI FROM LIBYAN POLICE AVIATION.

What is the effect of windscreen anti-ice on NVG performance ?
And does 109E windshield anti-ice cause optical distortion during NVG operations ?
Is there any technical information on this subject ?

We fly AS332 and always have windshield anti-ice ON during NVG ops. There is no noticeable effect!

Ditto here. Beats the hell out of flying with ice on the windshield.

Would reccomend that (as with all other NVG flights) the windows are clean... light rain or melting ice can create some very hard to see through muck when under goggles.
