Helicopters and Bridges

This link will take you to photographs of a Bell 412 owned by Air Methods and operated by Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

It appears there was too much helicopter to pass under a highway overpass.

This is the third aircraft lost at that operation.....two in flight and now one by ground transport.

OMG!

I can't say I've ever seen a more expensive set of "spare" MR blades...

I do hope the TR blades weren't in the cabin, who knows what happened in there!

Same same, this one was in Iraq



It survived the forced landing, but not the trip home on the road
