Anyone know of any landing site near or in Dartmouth, Devon.

Thanks,

Hi, I picked up an owner from the Torquay heliport about 2 weeks ago. Situated within a go-kart circuit. Very nice people who run it, £10 landing fee, and only about 3.5 - 4 miles from Dartmouth. Just watch out for the youngsters racing around as you approach!! Wish I'd had the camera with me.

There is also the Brittania Naval College in Dartmouth with lots of ground, but they were not there 2 weeks ago. Worth a try though.

Not in time perhaps, but for future reference, I've used the Pay & Display public car park about a mile from the town centre with the permission of the local council.

That was winter though - I very much doubt they'd allow it during summer.

Thanks all - I got a PPR from the Dartmouth HGCC in the end but ended up not going as my timing would have been way too tight to avoid the risk of an infringement (I finished work at 5pm, 10 mins to landing site, 3 mins to warm up and 10 mins to get to (unfamiliar) destination) - too tight for me, maybe next year!
