Major work taking place there at the moment with excavators digging up most of the area. They are extending the runway. Looks like a huge project.

I would like to think you are right, but are you sure it is not an extension of the race circuit or something else non-aviation?

If the airport was being extended, I would have thought we would have heard about it from those doing it.

I should emphasise I don't know, I am just trying to be realistic. Hope I am wrong, of course

Hi Guys they are digging up all the top soil and using it for the new horse racing track near Llanstefan I think it is. Mind you you could only really get into pembrey on a weekend really due to the military flying around for the rest of the week
