Or a search through this thread:

Plenty of pictures of S61s in there.

And, incidentally, in this thread:

Nice to see a picture of a "standard" 61, ie one that is different to every other 61

Thanks for the pics guys.
I`m making a S61N for flightsim and need som info about a specific instrument used in the north sea. Its a dual VOR/ADF needle instead of an HSI, similar to an RMI but more capeble with navaid selections and so on.
Im allso going to have to get an high resolution pic of a cockpit from an S61 used in the north sea. Anyone know where the S61s opperated by CHC in norway went?

As I alluded to before, they all seem to be slightly different. I beleive that most of the NS machines had an HSI (latterly at least)

Bristows had 2 basic panel layouts. Most of their aircraft had an RMI but the newest few had HSIs. G-BIMU had a different panel but had been aquired about 4th hand when BCAL was bought so who knows where that came from?

The older aircraft main panel looked like this:

Left side

Right side

One needle was the ADF the other the VOR for respective that side I think. Can't remember which needle was which - it's been over a decade since I flew one. I have a vague recollection that some of the aircraft had a heading bug on the RHS but I didn't spend much time in that seat & it was a long time ago!
