converting N.Z. C.P.L

I am helping a friend with a N.Z. C.P.L.(H) convert to a commercial licence here in Europe. Having checked out LASORS I've discovered (not surprisingly) that he has to do the full set of ground written exams for the grant of his J.A.A. commercial. Since I have an A.T.P.L. (A) I'm not sure which exams he needs for the full A.T.P.L. Is there a big difference between an A.T.P.L. and a C.P.L. in the helicopter world ? I presume that an I.R. will feature as an important part of the process. Any advice on where to train will be greatly appreciated.
