Fine if you don't mind approaching over water, as it is set on an island.

There is the Cedar Court Hotel as well, adjacent the M1 junction. Mind the wires (and the high sided vehicles!).

They used to reserve a whole car park for landing traffic if you let them know in advance,

You could always try The Three Acres restaurant (HD8 8LR) it shows as 12.6 miles from Pinderfields. They have a large grassed landing area beside their carpark which is regularly used, although if you want to eat I suggest you book! and its right next to Emley moor TV mast so you shouldn't have too many problems finding it either.

3-acres beware!

3-acres expanding their carpark into field - beware building rubbish but should be better when finished !!
