GOM flyers

I'd like to see an ongoing thread like "What's new in West Africa" for those
of us in the GOM. I never read much about it. Are there not enough on
this forum or what? Comments?

If you've got any gossip, news or rumours about the GOM, surely a good place to start is sharing that with us...?

Here's a good place to start: GoM Gossip

Search for 'Gulf', 'Mexico', 'Lafayette', 'Galveston' or some other name/word associated with the GoM and you'll find lots.
(The PPRuNe search engine won't search for 3 letter words.)

There are bumper stickers around which say "Don't tell my mother I fly helicopters in the Gulf of Mexico. She thinks I'm a piano player in a *bordello* on Bourbon Street".
*trying to do an end run around obscenity filters.

I flew in the GOM back in 89. I thought it was a great learning experience.
