DC H10-13XL headset echo

Hi all,

Got to fly with my new noise cancelling headset on Saturday and the ANR is great when switched on. However, my voice is echoed back to me on top of the normal expected sidetone, a little disconcerting!
As I can't hear a sidetone with the headset unplugged, I assume it's a function of the aircraft comms? Ship is an R22 BII and my pax (wife) was wearing the non-anr version of my headset, so the two units should at least be impedance matched. I did a small amount of tweaking of the headset volume controls and ICS volume, but no change. Didn't want to do too much messing about as I was P1 (and only)!
Any clues as to the cause would be greatly appreciated.

Si

Oh blimey. Headsets and small helicopters, it's always a nightmare getting them to work. I've flown a lot of small helis with my DC headsets and they NEVER act the same way in every aircraft. Sometimes the hot-mic works, sometimes not, etc etc.
