Kamov KA-50

Hi all,

The wikipedia entry for the KA-50 says its top speed is 350 kph. Is this right?

From a quick google search it would appear that figure is roughly correct, although i suspect as it's a military helicopter, the absolute figure isnt known (or revealed??).

There's slight variation amongst the figures, but they are all above 310kmh.

Thanks wheatbix. I had seen some of the other figures. I've also seen figures on other machines that I knew were a product of marketing, and were duplicated by the media and on the internet. So I was trying to figure out if the flood of >300 kph figures were spawned from a single marketeer, or if it was real.
