Civilian NVG Goggles

Hi,

Is there anybody out there who could provide me with some information about different NVG googles options for civilian use (HEMS/SAR). I know that there is goggles made in the US of A, Franch and Israel.

What is the different of these regarding quality, weight etc.

This website provides information on the American made ITT F4949. It also shows which versions are available for export to different countries.

which goggles?

There are some difficulties to get ITT F4949 from the States because of the new ROHS EU-directive. If you guys know differencies between those Vertolot mentioned goggles, please let me know.

NVG Goggles = Night Vision Googgle Goggles ???
