CAA and the conflict with nature

Isn't it lovely to read this:-
DUE FLOODING AT CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY (CAA HOUSE) DIRECTORATE OF AIRSPACE POLICY AND AIRSPACE UTILISATION SECTION TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE. UNDER CONTINGENCY ARRANGEMENTS ALL OPERATORS REQUIRING NOTAM ACTION FOR UNUSUAL AERIAL ACTIVITIES SHOULD CONTACT UK NOTAM OFFICE DIRECT WHO WILL TAKE NOTAM ACTION AS REQUIRED.
I really thought that they were in control of all things aeronautical!!

Funny thing is.....now one can contact the Notam Office directly and bypass the a host of bureaucrats....perhaps that is more telling than the inability to control acts of God.

Perhaps it took an act of God to point this out!
