RFS flying ops staffing change.

following rx

Team
As you may know by now, I have decided to leave my position in the Aviation Section and the RFS to pursue another opportunity elsewhere in the Aviation industry.
I have not taken this decision lightly and will miss many of the challenges and people in the RFS aviation fraternity. I know that I am leaving at a time of unparalleled activity and professionalism in the aviation firefighting environment where the use of aircraft has become the norm and there is far greater understanding of the benefits and limitations of aircraft use. This situation has arisen not by chance and many of you can take great credit for you part in this development.
I will remain a volunteer locally and in the aviation arena and will expect to run into many of you in the future. I hope to be able to continue to assist the safe development of the RFS aviation capability.
I would like to thank you for your personal support and wish you the best for the future.
With best wishes
Tony
