Looking for 'Fatal Traps for Helicopter Pilots'

Anybody know where I can get 'Fatal Traps for Helicopter pilots'. Can't find it on the web anywhere. Seems to be out of print and sold out everywhere.

I wouldn't bother with the book, it's pretty much just reprints of NTSB and AAIB accident investigations.

I have a copy and find it quite useful. It doesn't really tell you anything you didn't learn for the PPLH but the examples show how the unwary can get themselves in trouble and they are nicely collated. It's also aimed at non-pilots so there's a fair amount of simplistic stuff.

You can stick it next to the throne and dip into it to remind yourself of what not to do....

NTSB

I know its off your original post but go to the NTSB Accident web site ntsb.gov and go through the accident reports. You will be amazed how much you will learn from other peoples mistakes

It's worth the money I paid time ago, It's better to have a book than searching&reading from a computer, the work for a good list of scenarios is done.

Thumbs up

Vertical, I would try ebay, I saw a copy there awhile back however a friend gave me his copy, which I’m reading at the moment....

Let me just say that from reading this book, it certainly makes me think about the predicaments that have happened to the unsuspecting Pilots, I think it's a great little training tool

Fatal traps of that kind can be found inside bars and are called women.
