And here is the last batch until I get back to Dubai in a day or so. The camp you can see the Huey flying over in the images above is actually the Al Qaeda training camp you see in the various news clips showing them training.

Ironic that having 'passed on' the Canberra to the US, they are still using it's derivative whilst the RAF have just retired their fleet.

Ned those pic's are great, some remind me so much of south east Angola, not to many helicopter to shoot (no pun intended) there however.
Can someone remind me what the Russians were fighting there for..... no comment’s on the current occupational forces though.
Good to see the palace has a big fat mil on the pad... all good wars need a dictator in a palace.

The Canberra is actually there at the request of the Afghan Government, doing some mapping to see where all the mineral deposits such as Iron, Zinc etc are.
