Little video taken on a flight around town, less than 3 minutes from Takeoff to Landing, used a microsized skydiving camera to capture the video, we do this all day back and forth.
Low speed / no flare autorotation
Too bad its only in German, but here is a rough translation:
The low speed autorotation differs from the normal autorotation in that way that there is practically no flare at all.
Think of it as a hover autorotation from a big height. In this case we will do it from 1100ftAGL.
We will reduce all forward speed and will probably have a stable sinkrate of about 1800-2000fpm.
TAS will be 30-35kts with the wind on the nose at around 10kts.
At a height of about 4-8m we will make our initial pitch to reduce the sinkrate -> RRPM will drop to around 90%.
The rest of the RRPM is used to cushion the touch down.

GoPro HD Helmet Camera
It looks like he used this camera for the job.

I used the GoProHD with the MOtorsports kit, and of course used a safety parachute cord to tie it in case the suction mount would give, which never has, I've mounted it to a Cessna going 175 knots and it held just fine, then I've mounted it to my skydiving helmet and have reached speeds of up to 240 MPH without problems.
@Budgie, look at the video closely, the wind is very variable, when you fly in place surrounded by mountains, buildings in this time of the year the wind is very unpredictable, I don't know if you have ever landed at pads like these? and also at this pad in particular the building itself will always create very strange mechanical turbulence which make the windsock unreliable, haha!
Also the pad is at about 8,000ft AMSL, and our DA was about 9,500.

Thought you liked to see this footage, taken with 5D with gyro stabilizer
