That pilot leaving the wedding is an accident waiting to happen. Hope he doesn't take anyone with him. Wonder if his insurers are aware of his antics?

Anyways,

Here's a video of a homebuilt helicopter crashing. Oh the humanity...

Not a helicopter video exactly but has quite a bit of MH-6 footage towards the end.

AH-56 footage

Anyone got any footage of the Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne, fascinating piece of technology from the 60s/70s, as discussed on a few other threads?

Saw a short piece on UTube recently but it keeps getting removed for Terms of Use violation (and the commentary isn't much good anyway!)

For anyone interested there is a decent book on it available on Amazon but I'd not seen flying footage/video before the UT clip.

Cheers, BM

10-episode dokumentation "Die Bergretter" about Air Zermatt in Switzerland. Includes lots of mountain rescue operations in Lamas and Ecureuils (Squirrels). An episode is about 45 minutes and there are 7 ones from the summer und 3 ones from the winter. I think it gives a good overview of what happens around the Matterhorn und espacially what the everyday work for Air Zermatt is.

You need to have Realplayer installed and you can choose either you want high qual (high bandwidth needed) or low qual.
Unfortunately the series was produced for the swiss public television, therefore most people in the series speak a swiss dialect of German. Even for me as a German it was kinda hard to figure out what they were talking about sometimes.

But if you understand German well, it will be VERY interesting to watch. I watched all the episodes in just 2 days.

Sorry for my poor English

I loved it . Excellent work they do and looks like a lovely life they lead as well, as long as you don't mind the number of dead people one keeps bringing back.
