very strange modified T bar........

take the headsets out (sell them) then use it to pot plants in....

R22 flower baskets....would make an ideal border feature next to the pond and rockery....

12yrs OR 2200hrs???

Please forgive my ignorance but isn't there a 12 year life issue with this a/c. 1990, no overhaul/rebuild in 2002. States in the ad questions that 12yr o/haul isn't required if not at 2200hrs as its only a factory recommendation. is this true?

As far as I know you have 12 years or 2200Hr's whichever comes first.

However, and I'm not 100% sure of this, there are some Authorities that dont require the 12 year (NZ maybe?) so maybe this is the case with that A/C. Saying that though, its 'N' Reg and surely the FAA go with RHC and use the 12Y/2200Hrs.

Is it me being cynical or dont you think its odd that out of 24 photos, not one of them is with it in the air, or running even ?

Wouldn't the cyclic cross bar collide with the pilots calfs? Especially in when hovering in wind?

If you can find an IA to sign off, you can get an R22 deemed airworthy even if it's flown past the 12 year calendar time but ONLY IF IT'S FOR PRIVATE USE. No IA in the U.S. would sign off on a 12+ year ship that hadn't recieved the Robbie mandated overhaul for either the 2200 hour time-out or the 12+ year calendar timed-out(whichever comes first) if it was going to be used for commercial ops.
Notice the guy is careful in how he answers the questions about it on eBay?
I emailed to ask if the 12 year calendar time out affects comercial use and he never replied.
