The date looks early 90's, what sort of plank is that: turbo something?

Isnt that at Duxofrd. Looks like one of those old German type planes that I have seen parked down in the corner of Duxford when we were at the last Helitech.

That was at the Hanenweide in Germany.
The plane is an ex swiss air force C-3605. They converted them to turbines and used them for pulling targets. Still a few flying around.
Happend a long time ago.

you sure that was in germany?? it looks a lot like a highland 206... but i could be wrong.. regardless, that's a hell of an insult to a tail rotor... wonder if the damage would have been even worse had the m/r been tied down!!!

i think you will find the rotor was tied down on the video. just to grainey to see it. i thought there would be a more catostrophic failure of the turbo props blades upon impact.
