Anybody going through CFI training?

Im currently going through my CFI training and would like to hear from any of you guys out there who have any tips and hints on how to improve things.

Im still very mentally overwhelmed at having to fly and talk through the schools manuever guide. Im told the penny will drop one day and it will all fall into place.

Have you guys got any good tips you can air so us guys learning can add it to the ever growing knowledge & experiance?

Any help and comments would be great!

Learn the maneuvers like you would learn the script of a play. "Chair fly" everything - over and over and over again. Sit in the aircraft and visualize what every instrument should be reading through all the phases of a maneuver. Have your instructor fly the maneuvers while you describe what is about to happen. Write bullet point cards for every maneuver, and review them before your practice sessions (in the helicopter or in your chair).

The penny will indeed drop.
