Fully booked

Tried to book into Cardiff heliport today - match on at the stadium,
I was told fully booked a week ago- 55 helicopters inbound today.
SAD NOTE--As usual Cardiff heliport have a special landing rate for today only UPWARDS
Every local hotel full as well
All is not lost, I hear there is a new private heliport about to open near by.

Have you tried Miskin Manor? Very helo friendly (owner Colin Rosenberg has an R22) and has a huge field to land in. Nice lunch too!

Don't get your point!
You're surprised it was full or that you had left it so late to book in?

you would not have wanted to be there anyway £37 to land and £50 for 6 mins parking while we filled up [and we did not drop any one off there ]

we wernt even allowed to have a break for a coffee

they were very very busy ,and it was a very slick operation full marks for that ,nice place too

see you soon steve

it may have looked slick, but to be kept waiting for upwards of half an hour to board your aircraft.Knock on delay running into bad weather and running out of light.

Pretty smooth

I thought it was pretty impressive - end of the match and 120 tired (and in the case of West Ham supporters, emotional) PAX want to leave simultaneously - what FATO can manage that many movements without some queues.
All seemed good tempered, well managed and above all safe.
